Financial Aid

Financial Aid is money in the form of scholarships, grants, work-study, and loans. The Financial Aid program at Bahamas Community College is designed to assist students who are financially disadvantaged and/or academically qualified undergraduates in meeting their tuition and fees obligation. Its primary objective is to ensure available funds are provided to eligible students in order that they may have access to a Bahamas Community College education.

Award Process

Each student’s file is reviewed and analyzed on an individual basis to evaluate financial need. Financial need is the difference between the “cost of attending Bahamas Community College” and the “expected contribution”.  Based on the information provided on the application by the student and parents, the Office of Bahamas Community College will determine which funds the student is eligible to receive.   Disbursed aid will be removed if the enrollment status is not confirmed.
